PP diaries / extracts

Peter kept extensive diaries from when he was a boy at school. Encouraged by his grandfather he wrote and took pictures almost everywhere he went almost all his life.

Leaving school Peter spent some time jumping trains, 'riding the rattlers' and seeing a bit of Australia via the bush.

War Diaries, 1941 - 1945
PP served in the Middle East, New Guinea, Bougainville & The Solomon Is. He later wrote a trilogy of books based on the diaries kept while on active service. The first of these is back in print, and the diaries themselves are currently being transcribed.
