Letter from Fred Grady
May 2008, Nebraska

I must say this is a most excellent book [Dust on my Shoes], written by a skillful and master writer. I've very happy I found it, by accident.

Greetings from the Sandhills of Nebraska, and my best wishes to you.

Letter from Nick Waterman
June 2008

Great website I have been a long time follower of Peter Pinney
Have collected all his books over the years.
Have loaned out many to people all over the world - some never come back but I do have extra copies which give me a bit of comfort.
I did not realise that a new book has been released Road to Anywhere so I will be hunting that down.
To be honest he has been a bit of a hero of mine.
Regards Nick Waterman

Letters from Craig Dorman
April 2008, Alaska

Hi - I pulled an old copy of Legends of Liberia out of a trash bin in Liberia in 1960...recently I transcribed it into Word, figuring that after their years of war the Liberians might like to have access to some of their old legends, and that it was highly unlikely that there were a lot of copies floating around over there. At the time I wasn’t aware of your site, and had indeed failed to find another copy despite both web and library searches. I’ve attached a copy of my transcribed version, that includes a couple photos of the book itself. If this makes it easier for you to publish it, great. As I said, my intention is simply to try to get it into schools and libraries in Liberia. I’ve sent it to a few folks already (one of them alerted me to your site), and will send it to more shortly.
